Im visiting Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa and Quebec. Please reply!
On august 17, Im traveling to canada for the first time with my sister. We are 19 and 18 years old.
I dont like doing tipical tourists journeys so it would be great if anyone could give me tips on cool things to do. I would like to mingle with natives also. We are visiting Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa and Quebec.

Montreal
- go jet boating in the rapids of the St. Lawrence River
- go to La Ronde amusement park on an island in the St. Lawrence
- stroll the cobblestone streets and alleys of Vieux Montreal
- rent bikes and discover Montreal's great bike path system
Toronto
- explore the Kensington market area where all the cultures of Toronto meet
- take the ferry across to Centre Island to find fun and beaches
- take in a Toronto Argonauts game to discover the unique game that is Canadian Football
- even though it's touristy I recommend the view from the top of the 553 metre CN Tower
Ottawa
- take a boat cruise on the canal
- explore the Byward Market
- choose to explore at least one of Ottawa's many outstanding (and inexpensive) museums
- go across the river to Hull for late-night revelry
Quebec
- take a caleche (horse drawn carriage) ride
- find the oldest (1665 I believe) building in Canada (now a restaurant)
- explore the old town and fortifications
- take the funicular back up the cliff from the old town
