This is a plea to anyone currently travelling in North India. I am currently in Srinagar, travelling on my own.
Becuase i'm a single white female, none of the hotel managers etc will let me go anywhere on my own, so I'm not meeting any other travellers. I'm desperately lonely. I have 3 more weeks in India and am planning on going to amritsar, dharmasala, manali etc.
If anyone is planning on travelling to those places soon \(i leave for jammu on tuesday) and would like to meet up, send me a message. I'm not asking for you to support me financially or anything, but I have to get out of this cycle of guided tours and prepared meals.
I stupidly don't have a guidebook and so am at a loss for places to stay who won't do this. Normally I'm confident enough to say no but I'm on my own and they're just wearing me down. I'm lonely and nervous and I really want to start enjoying myself, but at the moment I just want to go home.
If anyone wants to meet up, let me know.
Thanks
