Why is my husband not getting any response to his request for his private blog to be unlocked to allow access?
4 years ago, October 2nd 2019 No: 1 Msg: #207586
Me and my husband have been travelling Peru for three weeks and blogging private invitees of family and friends. Over a week ago his account was unavailable to access due to investigation that he was spamming travelblog.org
One of his friends on the list noticed someone not on the invite list had made comments. Maybe this actioned the closure. Despite repeated messages on the Contact Us page he’s not had any response and fears he’s lost a number of days blogs which were saved not published. Can someone please inform me how to contact travelblog.org direct either by phone or email?

I am one of the Moderators whose job is to identify and Suspect spammers (about 90% of new bloggers are spammers). When someone joins TB they are categorized as NEW until we obtain enough information, either from the Profile or posted blogs, to make the determination that they are either a Blogger or a Suspected spammer. In yours and your husbands case, I did not see any blogs for which to make this determination. I kept you both as New. Based upon your query above, I have now classified you as a Blogger. As for your husband, either the Administrator (Jo Trouble), who makes the final decision after a Moderator has Suspected someone, or another Moderator might have Suspected him. Jo Trouble is traveling in China right now so might not be as responsive to questions. I have looked for your husband's TB name and couldn't find it. Please send it to me and I will try to find out what the problem is. My wife and I visit Peru in 2014 and loved it! I hope you are having a great time and that you don't lose any blogs. Hi Bob Many thanks for replying to my request. I very much appreciate your help. We’ve just arrived back in UK so now have WiFi again after 3weeks travelling including completing the 4day Inca Trail ... not bad for a pair of mid sixties. Lots of travelling I must admit but thoroughly rewarding and our family and friends enjoyed my husbands blog updates so a tad disappointing when we couldn’t continue. His TB name is Jimminycricket Hope we can get reconnected as he has a lengthy blog update for the machu picchu day which he saved but hadn’t published so we can let our invited friends live the experience Many thanks Carol Procter In response to: Msg #207587 Reply to this

Hi again Bob Sorry to bother you again but David has tried to access the blog account and finds he’s been locked out again. It was ok for a couple of days but closed again. He wants to extract the blogs for our holiday record and add a couple more family members but his blog is still under review as spamming travelblog.org
Could you please arrange for it to be unlocked again and safeguard it open for the future
Kind regards Carol Procter Reply to this

In response to: Msg #207604 I've categorized David as a Blogger, and asked the other Moderators not to Suspect him. He is currently showing up as a Blogger. Let me know if you have any more issues. Reply to this

Another Moderator Suspected your husband, but has now changed his status to New pending his posting a blog. Once you post the blog, his status will then be changed to Blogger. Please do so soon! Reply to this
