TravelBlog recomments Blurb but says it's possible to make our blog into a book with another company. Though I go to my control panel where I created each post, I can't copy photos from these old posts at all. Is there a way?
Reply to this Hi Val and Doug,
You can get a backup of your photos, but they will be the size of an enlarged photo on TravelBlog (i.e. if you click a photo to enlarge), which may not be the same size as the originals you uploaded. To get these photos, you can follow the following steps:
(1) Make sure the blog containing the photos is published (this process only works for published blogs).
(2) Then, using a non-Safari browser (we recommend Firefox or Chrome), go to Control Panel >> Utilities >> Blog Backup
(3) On your browser, go to File >> Save Page As >> make sure that the Format menu at the bottom reads "Web page, complete" >> Save
(4) In your saved location, you should find a file that reads "show_backup.php.html" where you will find copies of all of your images
Reply to this You can also save any blog entires as PDF files in Chrome
Reply to this Thank you for your answers. I'll see if it all works.
Reply to this I have Safari which is possibly why I wasn't having any luck. I'll download Chrome or Firefox.
