I am trying to get from Calgary, Canada to Altoona or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in a rental car (one-way only). I am not having any luck finding a rental car company that allows this. Any ideas? Reply to this

Hiya

I booked a car to drive from NY to LA, one way only with carhire3000.com, the actual car rental company is National. You will have to actually pay a penalty for doing one way only and that was £199 for us booking from Britain. We found that carhire3000.com was really helpful and definitely the cheapest and most accommodating one around.
Good luck!

The problem is not so much the distance as the fact that you are picking up the car in one country and dropping it in the other, which our NA car rental companies don't seem to like to do. Have you thought about driving from Calgary to Toronto, dropping your car off there and then taking a bus (4 hours) or plane (1 hour) to Pittsburgh? Reply to this

Search for [car rental [/url] website where you can find top car rental companies and their deals. It is a great way how to get to know what is offered by each of the car rental supplier in one place and in short time.
