POPA CHUBBY

Years ago at the Great Southern Blues Festival they'd give you a piece of paper to write down who you'd like them to bring out. Each year I would write "Popa Chubby"...and in 2013...last weekend they delivered...from New York...first trip to OZ. Each gig no stops for breath between tracks...steam coming off his bald head...ecstacy from his guitar...

From 10 of his CDs I have...what to play???

"NOBODY LOVES ME LIKE I LOVE MYSELF"

Another of my favourite guitarists...one of the best...privileged to have seen live.

He is the one the term "makes rafters weep" was coined

Had the privilege of seeing him in the late 1970's. One of the greats who was gone before his time....thanks for sharing.
