Hi!

My name is Rebecca and I'm currently the social media coordinator for an online travel agency called HotelsVsHomes and I am trying to collect traveller information through a ton of different ways!

What I want to know, is where you guys, the travellers love to stay when you are in Eastern Canada! This can be anywhere east of ontario. I want to know the places that you go to, the places you stay etc.

Looking forward to hearing where you guys have been! Reply to this

Hi Rebecca,
I hope in some way my reply will help. I am a more mature traveller and travelled alone as a woman through eastern Canada in 2010 (and I am going back).
My preferred option was a B&B and I realised that other mature experienced adult travellers preferred this option. The best way I can describe the B&B experience was like a mature age hostel.
The owners across Canada took great pride in their business; every home I / we ( I had my husband with me on the west coast) stayed without exception was clean and comfortable. I loved the morning together breakfast when you would get to meet and greet old and new travellers, people coming and going all with shared news and experience.
I tried to reproduce the experience in the UK last year and in no-way did the B&B’s in the UK even come close to comparison in comfort and ambiance as I had found in Canada.
