Hi,
I am a 40 year old woman who wants to travel for informational purposes. In other words I am not interested in nightlife, sunbathing or spa treatments! I just want to put together an itinerary for Chon Buri, Thailand. I want to learn as much as possible, have some good meals and rest at a nice hotel. Do you have any suggestions?
Reply to this Hello,
The most representative landmarks in Chon Buri are: Wat Khao Phra Phutthabat Bang Sai, which is a building that houses Buddha’s footprint, Wat Yai Inthraram which is a temple where you can see mural paintings, the Phra Phutthaishing Shrine, Wat Thammanimit which has the Buddha’s image in concrete, Wihan Thep Sathit Phra Kitti Chaloem or Nacha Sa Thai Chue Shrine, which is a building that houses numerous Chinese divinities imageries and Phra Chuthathut Ratchathan, which the only palace from the area.
Reply to this Hi,
I would like to add Laem Thaen. It is only at a 20 minutes drive distance from Chon Buri. People organize markets and festivals there. In addition, you can find traditional and non-traditional restaurants there. As for the best hotel occasions, I found some at <snip>. Right now, they have a 70%!o(MISSING)ff for Chun Buri. They keep the discounts coming all year round.
