Due to all the SPAM our policy has changed; for editorially approved 1000 word guests post, we charge $1,000,000. For this you will receive 1 year at top of the front page, and up to 10 links to the site of your choosing. It's a bargain! 😊
All other guest posts are refused, accounts posting "guest posts" will be marked as spam and deleted.
====
We get many questions from bloggers, companies and writers that broadly ask - "what is our policy on guest posts?"
Our policy is as follows:
1 - You are welcome to
join travelblog.org, and post travel related blog entries.
2 - You will be welcomed, you can link back to your blog from your profile, you can link from within your blog, you will gain new readers. Unrelated links and signatures dropped on our forums are deleted though.
3 - We will
not promote your blog entry, your account will be treated in exactly the same way as any other.
4 - Please do not keyword stuff, over-link, promote products or spam our site. Our moderators have a button that with a single click disables these type of accounts. If you do spam we blacklist urls and have a number of other anti-spam measures.
5 - To be featured on our front page, you need the support of other bloggers, the more travel bloggers that follow you, the more likely you will be on the front page - we currently require a minimum of 4 photos and 600 words.
Our rules are here
Terms of Service. If you follow them, you will become part of something that many people have found incredibly rewarding, and has changed many lives!
Don't expect overnight success, our most popular bloggers have built up readership over time. We find that bloggers that participate in our forums, follow other bloggers, post photos and post comments gain recognition more quickly. We have many many bloggers that are writers, photographers or run independent businesses, you will be in good company.
Please note: your blog may be flagged as commercial, if the content is deemed to be mainly of that nature.
If you have any related questions please ask below. Hope that helps.
