They often reflect the spirit of a country, so which are the most memorable to you?
I'm going to start with two from current foes on the world stage, but both are remarkable performances of two fantastic anthems.
First, the Star Spangled Banner from the USA - with THAT rendition by Whitney Houston from Superbowl in 1991 (I remember watching this live):
Second, this is shown every night on television in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), the Aegukka (or Patriot Song) is their national anthem:
