As I drove through Shaanxi Provence in Central China with my Xiondi...he took off my Crosby Stills & Nash CD...and played this track..."Heaven" by Teng Ge.
Carried me into Gansu Provence...up the carved mountain Maiji Shan...sang it at the top of my voice by the side of the road in Luoyang, Henan Provence...at a time of immense happiness...a pivotal piece of music in my travels in China...picked up a triple CD in a wooden box...pity I can't read Mandarin.
Turn it up...lie back...let it transport you...Teng Ge
