Reply to this Thanks! My husband took this photo in DRC. He was on a work trip and managed a quick trip to see the Gorillas. An amazing experience, and this photo is our favourite. He spent some time with a family, the conditions were bad, mist and rain and dull lighting, so we are really happy with how the photo turned out. He would highly recommend seeing the Gorillas 😊

I too visited the gorillas in 2008, but in Rwanda, and this experience comes with my highest recommendation. The difference was that I wasn't able to capture such a tremendous photograph as the one chosen as the Photo of the Week!
