This is Franz Nicolay, musician from New York (ex-The Hold Steady, sometime Against Me touring member). I'm doing a long tour this summer that's passing through UB around July 9-16 and looking to set up a show or two. I've done a little research and it looks like there are several live music venues, but little contact info - does anyone have advice/contacts on setting up a show in Ulan Bataar?
