I was wondering can I favourite certain bloggers? Say, if they are travelling in a country I am interested in, or I enjoy their blog? just so it is easy to find ? If I can, how do I do this ?

You can do this easily. You have two options.
The first is to subscribe to any bloggers you are interested in by clicking on the subscribe tab on the right of their home page and then filling in your email address details. Every time the blogger publishes a new blog you will receive a notification via email.
If you don't want to receive mail then the other option is to recommend bloggers.
Click on the bloggers recommend tab and add them to your recommendations. Each time the blogger posts something new you will receive a notification on your minifeed which is located on the right side of your TravelBlog control panel page. Actions by bloggers you have subscribed to as above will also appear here.

You absolutely can favorite certain bloggers, in fact we encourage you to do so! On each blog under the bloggers profile and photos on the right hand side you will see a
Recommend button, under Blog Options.
Click that and all blogs from that blogger will be displayed in your Control Panel for quick reference.

Reply to this Sorry to be dense, I have looked on a few different blogs and none of them appear to have the Recommend button. Do I need to alter my profile or be a member for a certain time? I can subscribe but I cannot see the recommend button. Any ideas?
Reply to this The recommend tab is to the right, on the bloggers home page not on the blogs themselves.
This tab is also the last thing to load on the page. Just be patient and it will appear 😊

Welcome to TravelBlog :-)
Because your status is still 'NEW', the Recommend link won't be displayed.
When you've published a blog entry though, your account will be reviewed and the status upgraded to 'BLOGGER'.

Reply to this You're more than welcome to add a blog entry before you start travelling - a lot of people do one on their travel plans and preparation for the trip.
Reply to this Actually! I've just checked your status and it is still showing as 'NEW'.
I'm not too sure, but I believe that your status will need to be upgraded to 'BLOGGER' before you can use the recommend tab. Hopefully one of the Admins, such as Jo or Mell will be able to advise you on this point 😊
