Does anybody know if it is possible to send a package from a Chinese post office to a post office in another city, where you plan to pick up the package a few weeks later?

I am going to study in Shanghai this summer and when I´m done I plan a backpacking trip without too much luggage. I`m not going back to Shanghai because I fly out of Hong Kong and I wonder how to get my stuff there. I don`t want to send it all the way home because of shipping costs and toll fees.

Reply to this Haven't used this service myself in HK, but no doubt poste restante facilities are available. You should check how long they keep things for, though, so that they don't treat it as undeliverable and send it back before you've had the chance to pick it up ...
