Taiwan is definitely a good chance for budget travelling, with a wide array of choice of accommodation, from food stalls to Micheline, from High Speed Bullet Trains <snip> to budget buses

Reply to this How about Bangkok and Thailand? I heard there are many tourist attractions and resorts as well with good accommodations at cheaper price.
Reply to this Toss up - Bolivia, or Nepal right after the major Earthquake.
Reply to this I think Bangkok is one of the right destinations. Provided that we can arrange the budget properly we can visit some tourist attractions such as Siam Ocean World by train <snip> to other sights greeting all travelers.

Reply to this I backpacked around Europe on my own in my early 20's for 4-5 months and I think for most days, it was less than US$80-100/day all in (food, transportation and accommodation) and given how weak most currencies are against USD, i am sure it can probably be cheaper now.
While most places you can do the cheaper way or the more lux way, in general i find that Latin America, Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia are cheaper than Europe and North America. But even for the more expensive regions, you can still find ways to lower your travel cost.
Reply to this I planned my budget vacation in Asia and decided to visit Hong Kong. I ordered tickets online [<snip>. This is an excellent and convenient service with a nice website that can save your time. Manager helps to find the optimal plan and answers all the questions that may arise. I really enjoyed Hong Kong. Asian culture is something incredible, besides I managed to spend a relatively small amount of money.
