Hi,
We will be spending Christmas in Manilla and wondered if anyone had any tips for somewhere to stay which will be festive but kind to the pocket. We would like to spend max 20USD per night on our room over the holiday period and splurge on a good Christmas dinner instead. Is it possible to get a good room for this price?

Reply to this Yes you can get as low as 800 pesos per night in Manila but i suggest you consider Cebu, Philippines. It is quite cheaper than Manila and very peaceful.

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately we are flying out to Singapore on the 27th and didn't want the stress of too many flights over the Christmas period so Manila it is. We found a nice hotel (The Pearl) for only 30 Euro a night so are pretty happy with that. Its luxury compared to what we are used to! Mery Christmas.
