Where to stay when visiting hot springs?

We are on a small buget but want to spend a few days at or near Papallacta. Any good low priced reccomendations? Reply to this

Hi William,

The main Hotel on the site of the thermos is expensive but further down the road that lead you to the thermas there is a place on your left as you go down the hill, they have their own thermas and a bed starts at about $15 night but you then don't have to pay the $7 into the main baths.

The alternative is to camp behind the children's museum, it costs $6 per tent, ask the guys in the museum for firewood which they will bring you for a few dollars extra.

Thank you... we are heading there today. Have you been to the jungle. SHould we do the northern jungle or Tena? Which is the best experience? also considering heat, bugs, comfort. Reply to this
