I need info about crossing the border between Flores, Guat. and Belize City
Hi all. I am going to be in Guatemala and Belize for two weeks and I am flying in to Guat. City. I am planning on heading north and crossing into Belize via a bus route from Flores to Belize City. Is anyone familiar with the border crossing at Melchor del Mencos, crossing into Benque Viejo del Carmen and onto San Ignacio, I think? I.e. will I have to change buses if I take a local bus from Flores? Is it worth it to just take the express bus from Flores straight to Belize City? Is this a good/easy place to cross the border?
