Please help me find out best places in Singapore ??
Reply to this Hi Sam, Let me firstly say I am no expert on Singapore but I have spent around 2 months there. These are some of the places I enjoyed while there.
1. The zoo: the best I have ever been in! when I visited there were many people offering half-price entry at the turnstiles, they had comp work passes & would give you the pass to go through & when you enter simple hand them the pass back.
2. Night safari: watching animals at night via an open electric bus very worthwhile (take mosquito repellent).
3. Chinatown: good for a stroll day or night with plenty of (hawker) food stalls & cheap shopping.
4. Little India: great for food & has the old colonial buildings & temples.
5. Changi Village & beach: not the best beach in the world but nice for a stroll & has a very cheap hawker centre which has many Malay ,Chinese & India stalls. Bus #2 takes you direct from the city centre or an MRT to Pasir Ris then a short taxi costs around S$7 for the taxi.
6. Raffles hotel: Mandatory for having the famous Singapore sling cocktail although not cheap.
7. Botanic Gardens: what can I say it has flowers 😊 & is a nice place to chill & read a book.
8. National Museum of Singapore: Interesting museum with exhibits on Singapores history.
9. Clarke Quay: good for a night - out, has many cool bars, a mix of modern & colonial building.
