I'm an American currently in the Philippines. Wondering how long it takes to get a 60 day Thai Tourist Visa in either Cebu or Manila?
I'm currently volunteering in the Philippines and will be leaving here in 3 weeks. I'm going to Thailand and want to get a 60 day tourist visa before I leave here. Does anyone know if I can do this with the Honorary Consul in Cebu or is it only in Manila at the Embassy that I can get the visa? How long does it take for them to issue the visa?
Thanks!!
Reply to this Hi Sabrina I've researched about it and learned that the total duration of stay in Thailand for persons who enter Thailand without a visa cannot exceed 90 days during any six month period, counting from the date of first entry.
Reply to this Thanks for the info! I'm flying into Manila on a Friday morning and am hoping to go to the Embassy to have them issue me a 60 day tourist visa there. I'm curious how long it takes to do this, as I am flying to Thailand either late that same night or the next morning. I assume its something that can be done in a day...but if anyone knows for sure I would greatly appreciate the heads-up. Cheers!
Reply to this Have a look on the internet for the contact details of the embassy and ask them how long it takes.
Often these are things that can be done quicker for a little extra cash.....
