Hi I am traveling to the east coast of America in august with 4 others all mid 20s, have traveled north of new york before and done the NYC thing, wondering if anyone can suggest a good trip south of New york for a week, involving a bit of everything sun, night life, out door activities. any help greatly appreciated. thanks. Hello, mid august is hot in the south... very hot and could be interrupted by hurricanes. I normally reside in Florida so i know about these issues haha. If you only have a week i would personally stay in the NYC area again, Boston Philly, NJ surprisingly has nice places, there are many islands off the coast, Block Island is pretty good, bring your on alcohol and sleep on a beach (sleeping bag) because it can be very expensive... plus there is always something to do in NY, i was born in NY and havent done half the things there. Miami and the keys could also be very good, more relaxed, deep sea fishing is great. just depends on what kind of trip you want Reply to this
