Looking for New Delhi Hotel recommendations

I'm a single traveler looking for some hotel recommendations in New Delhi for 2 nights starting March 13th. Budget hotels preferred. Also need help on best neighborhood for site-seeing.

I will be arriving to New Delhi on March 13th after a very long flight(27 hours!) and am looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly hotel in safe neighborhood and close to areas of interest. I'm traveling alone so want to make sure that I have a nice place to settle in the first couple of nights before taking off on my 5 week trip through India. Could anyone provide some suggestions? My budget range is $20-$30 US per night, or less works too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Reply to this

hello,
You can find budget class hotel in new Delhi at Paharganj area it is near to New Delhi railway station, When I was in Delhi, I also stayed in paharganj. In this area you will find many good and budget class hotels.
I paid for that time for one night 2000 INR.
Have a good trip.

Claude is right about paharganj area in Delhi and cheap hotel fares. Hmmm, safety and budget do not always go hand in hand and that's nearly true for all countries.

Paharganj budgets are low and safety is in your hands. One thing that favors you is that you will find a lot of travellers there.

I suggest you still consult lonely planet guide recommendations on this before landing. Reply to this

Hi,

I don't know how these guys telling about the these cost of hotel, is it available or not i am not sure but i recommend you first confirm then come to Delhi ( India ).
