I travelled Thailand for a 5 weeks in 2008 and I'm planning to go back for 2010/11 NYE full moon party, I'm only going to be there for 10 days or so. How do I arrange bus transfers without being there?
I had an ace time travelling round Thailand in 2008, everything was so easy to book whislt I was there. As soon as I arrived in Bangkok there were numerous travel agencies jumping out on you in the streets to take your bookings. I'm planning to go back to Thailand for about 10 days to go to the full moon party on NYE 2010/11. Trouble is this time I don't have time to arrange my booking when I arrive. I'm probably going to have to fly south from Bangkok either to Krabi or Phuket to spent some time on the west coast then we will head south to Koh Phanghan for the party then back to Krabi or Phuket to fly back to Bangkok. Not quite as easy to arrange I don't want to arrive and find all the coachs are booked there and back. Any advice welcome. Is there any website to book reasoable priced bus tickets?

I think there will be extra busses during the full moon. What you need as a tourist, always seems to be available in Thailand.

Reply to this I really dont see you having a problem booking it while you are there. They definitely wont turn down your money, so even if its a crowded bus with no seats they'll put you on!
