Snowboarding near Seoul

Hi there, I'm going to seoul at the end of this month and am seeing if it would be possible to snowboard nearby when I'm there.
I have read there a few slopes within a few hours of seoul.
Has anyone given snowboarding/skiing a go near Seoul, or have any advice/knowledge about the area? Reply to this

i havent gone skiing or snowboarding there yet, will try it at the end of jan. every1 whom i have asked online gave me 2 places - YongPyong and Muju

both are about 3 hrs away

I went few years back to Yongpyong....was really fun, perfect for a week-end trip. Do not expect the Alps, but you'll have a lot of fun! Reply to this
