Working in Mexico/Central America

Looking at maybe working at a hostel/bar along my travels so i can stay a bit longer in one place

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on areas in central america where they let travellers work. I realise there may be very little pay if any at all but looking to do this trip more on the cheap. Any hostel names or locations would be greatly appreciated
