Going to Nicaragua for 2.5 weeks and looing for suggestions

Hey everybody,
My girlfriend and I are planning on going to Nicaragua for 2.5 weeks in July or Aug of 2010 and we are looking for sample itineraries... Any help?

Hi Ryan, we travelled briefly through Nicaragua and went to Grenada and San Juan del Sur which was pretty cool. We actually wished we'd travelled around a little more. Check out the travel blogs on Nicaragua to get some ideas - this one Nica, Nica, Nica...es muy rica! Nicaraguaaaaa :) has some great photos and may inspire you! Reply to this

Yeah we have - we spent more than a month there in 2008, you can see the details of our travels in our blog From the Atacama to the Andes. We really loved it - we started in Lima, went to Huacachina, Nazca, Arequipa, Cuzco and Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca. Definitely worth doing! Reply to this

Oh WOW! That is going to be great, i think that we have decided to spend 3 weeks there instead of Nicaragua. We were in Guatemala, Belize, and Honduras last year and thought that Nicaragua might be a good trip but everything I have read points me to Peru. Thanks for the help, I may look you up again for some more detailed advice if you dont mind?
