We would really like a book with hints and advice about trains, buses, places to stay. We need a book for silver packers rather than young back packers. Does anyone know if such a thing exists - or shall we write it when we get home? | Mell Mell Post Count: 13894 Msg: #2 50 days ago, October 2nd 2009 | Hello Shara | The Lonely Planet covers activities, guesthouse, restaurants..... for different tastes. It does not say this or that section is for older people, but it does cover items that generally appeal to those who are older and also items that appeal to young people. And, the founder of the Lonely Planet books and his wife are not so young, so if any guidebook would appeal to backpackers and travellers right accross the age range, it is this one. Also try getting your hands on the 'National Geographic Traveler'; published by National Geographic but its real good reading material. | Also, if you are looking at specific info about India, would be glad to help :-) Number of Users: 3 | Number of Posts: 3 | |||||||||||
