I will be going to Hong Kong with my parents. I would like to have a good accommodation but with not very expensive price. Can anyone tell me where I can stay if I am looking for somewhere near to Tsim Sha Tsui?

Reply to this Why don't you try the YMCA on Salisbury Road in Kowloon? It's ideally located, right smack in the TsimSha Tsui area. Google it, to check availability and rates. It's 3 stars, and quite reasonably priced , very clean and cheerful staff.

I have a cousin in HK who could be of help. Give me your dates and the budget per room. I will check and revert. Last time round, I stayed at The Park and paid about HKD 600 per room per night. The hotel has just been redurbished and was very near to TST. You may want to visit my blog on HK.

Reply to this I will be happy to get nominated. On the subject, Chung King Mansion bang on TST on Nathan Road has many hostels. I believe they are very reasonably priced. I don't have first hand experience but I do see many guests up and down the lift. Hope this helps.

I have checked thru the accommodation available and finally I decided to rent Olympic Suite at the rate of HK820/N/3rooms. Isn't it a good deal. The only thing that I am worrying about is the distance to TST. Do you come across that accommodation?

Reply to this Where is Olympic Suite? I was once offered a similar deal but the condotel is in Discovery Bay which is very far from TST, but near HK Disneyland and airport.
