Going to Belize City early 2010. Watch out for!!
Going to Belize City INT 2010. If anyone has any first hand info on car rentals, road conditions (Southern HWY...Hummingbird HWY, coastal roads), Inns, places to see, etc. it would be appreciated. Have been once no real experiences. Taking family to look for possible relocation spot. Been looking at Stann Creek area, could perhaps find any tips or suggestions helpful.. Thanks!

you can check www.crystal-belize.com good auto rental. If you want to enjoy Belize to the fullest you will need to do spend some time west San Ignacio area, that's where all the inland activities, caving, ruins, waterfalls are. Then you can go down south and enjoy some quality beach time-snorkeling and fishing, pure relaxation. There are several good places you can check out both in San Ignacio and Placencia at a really good reasonable price.

Reply to this Been there, what has cause your recent interest there? there are two sites-cerros and santa rita to visit. Still, my advice is for you to go to San Ignacio. Looking at moving down?

I have only been to Belize City for a day but like the dive sites and fishing nearby which is our primary interest. Yes we were researching buying some land for a new place to play, thats about as far as we have got. Tom
