Hello,

You are reading this, I hope, because you are interested in something beyond the beach life...

read on...

I'm currently living in Bangkok, an American, male, 46 and fit, and did lots of relief work immediately after the tsunami. I'm looking for able-bodied relief workers that wish to meet me along the way to work with me. I have done extensive relief work after the tsunami and am a good guide, partner and can keep things in order.

You must be adventurous, not afraid to venture into the unknown and most of all, able to deal with the emotions that will come when involved in destruction and often death. I know this sounds gruesome, but let's face it, this is not for the faint of heart.

I am flying via Air Asia from Bangkok-Kuala Lumpur-Solo, Indonesia. I will supply the vehicle and expenses for such. You will help with hotel (if any nearby) and your own meals and travel.

Send me some info on your availability from June 14-28, 2006 and where you are coming from, your age, travel experience and expectations.

Thank you and hope you can join me!

See my blogs to see the type of work and places I go to do humanitarian work. I guarantee this will be an opportunity for an experience you will never forget.

To be honest, if you have intentions of bringing religious evangelism with you, I prefer not to travel with you. I'm Buddhist and wish to travel with someone that does not intend to trade aid for souls. I respect all religions but I do have a very intolerable stance on those that are bent on pushing their religion on the misfortunate and needy hearts. If you wish to bring your God-given heart full of charity and love to help those in need, then please do so with me. If you cannot travel to help others without preaching 'the word' then please do not respond and perhaps travel with those that are your peers in such work. I hope you understand. I am a good man and work with all walks of life. No one person's faith is above the other. Reply to this
