Mt. Kailash (Kangrenboche) and Manasarowar Yatra is a pilgrimage tour, has to be operated through any Travel agent from Nepal to Tibet. There are three options to reach to this holly sites. Via Simikot, Zhangmu/Kodari border and flight to Lhasa from Kathmandu or, if you are entering from Mainland of China. This is a high altitude plateau of Tibet in mid west Tibet. The average elevation gains 4100 mts from the see level.
The maximum altitude gaining is 5600 mts, when the pilgrims get on top of Dolma la (Pass). The third holly site is Tirthapuri, where natural hot spring and the cave of Padmasambhava are situated in combine with each other.

The most recommended route is via Simikot, which allows to you to acclimatize well before enter into Tibet because; the trip starts from 2800 mts and accent over Narala along to Tibet border along the bank of Karnali river. It takes 2 hrs flights from Kathmandu via Nepalgunja to get in Simikot and 5 days moderate trek to reach in Tibet border, Sera.
