Taking my two children, 26 & 28, to Costa Rica for a Christmas getaway. Need advice.
Want to stay where there is a nightlife for 20 somethings and not yet dead middies, but peaceful and not wild. we're looking to kick back, get in to the culture and stay away from touristy stuff, and get a lot of scuba in. Looks like San Juan is the best bet, but would also like to hear opinions from folks who have been there. Beachfront accommodations would be a major plus also!

There are quite a lot of international restaurants, some bars and clubs open late in the center of town, and if you stay in Langosta, you will be a tranquil part of town away from the center where the accommodations are higher end and the beach is never crowded and is very picturesque...
