Hi

Are you flying in? Do you land at 10pm or do you expect to get out of the airport at 10pm? Or are you coming overland? That will effect your transport choices.

At that late hour, if you are flying into Survanabumi airport, a taxi might be your best bet. A taxi will cost you something like 1000 - 2000 baht depending on who you book it with. Are you staying in a hotel, because they might offer a pick up service for a fee.

There are buses direct to Pattaya from the airport, but I don't know if they run that late. I would doubt it. There is about one every couple of hours. There are also buses from Ekkamai bus station (the Eastern bus station) to Pattaya every half hour, but they also stop at night.

Can you give us abit more information, then we might be able to be abit more helpful!!

There are no buses from the airport to Pattaya at that time. Getting a taxi is probably your best bet unless you want to spend a night in Bangkok and take a cheap bus to Pattaya in the morning.

Sometimes there are other passengers on the same flight that may be going to Pattaya and you can share the cost - sometimes! A price of 1100-1400 would not be unusual. Make sure that you know if toll charges are included in your price.

If you haven't been to Pattaya before make sure you have a proper name and address for the hotel. You can print a map from the hotel website too! Some taxi drivers to Pattaya from the airport are not that familiar with the area, Jomtien section may be even a little more difficult for the driver. Jomtien is a separate area from Pattaya City. Fortunately most of the drivers will stop and ask for directions.

Slight chance to get a bus from Ekamai Bus terminal, the last bus leaves there at 2300 for Pattaya. In Pattaya you have to get a baht bus to take you to your hotel.

Good luck.
