One of the beaches I stayed on in Mexico had big rooms with hammocks hanging in them. They charged some small fee for travellers per night to sleep in the hammocks. I was never in Columbia so dont know how it is there.

Tayrona is a must in Colombia I think, but you need to allow at least 2 nights minimum in my opinion, and preferably 3 or 4 nights.
The whole park is only accessible by foot (except the main entrances) so you will need some time to be able to walk around the jungle and enjoy the beaches.
Acommodation varies from luxury huts to basic hammocks and camping. You might need to book in advance depending on the season.
