Gday from Australia. Looking for cheap accommodation in Vancouver and Whistler and Victoria for a couple between the 19th and 23rd of April 2009.
Also does are there any Vancouver, canadians looking to exchange Can Dollars into Aus Dollars that may want to exchange dollars whilst we are there? Exchange can be done in one of the many Coffee shops and done at exactly the exchange rate of the day(No ripoff bank fees.)
Where is the best place to see wildlife within 200kms of Vancouver( Moose Caribou Bears Squirrels and Koalas?) We are hiring a car in Seattle and travelling to Vancouver, Are there any hassles at the border for Aussies? How many different companies ferry cars across to Van Island? Is it just BC Ferries? Which is the quickest and Cheapest route? Anyone want to go skiing for a day in Whistler during any of these dates? Is whistler friendly for beginners? How expensive are the lift Tix and ski hire? Cheers in advance Denis Sydney Australia Reply to this

Hotel Reservations for Vancouver, Whistler and Victoria - Cheap Hotels,Discount Hotels

Finding cheap accommodation in Vancouver is easy because there are a large number of hotels in this city hence rates are quite competitive. You can find some nice discount hotels there through various means. A double occupancy room at The Howard Johnson Plaza Vancouver can be booked for $47 a night through http://www.cnghotels.com and there are other hotel reservations sites like Priceline and Travelocity that offer cheap hotels. Always compare rates on several sites before you book your hotel room.

Whistler is not usually cheap, but Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa can be booked for as low as $119 per night. Its Hilton so you can be sure of the quality. The Crystal Lodge Hotel is even cheaper at $101, but I would prefer Hilton.

Red Lion Inn and Suites Victoria is located approximately 12 miles from the Victoria International Airport and can be booked for as low as $57 per night. Red Lion is a nice but cheap hotel chain hence you can expect good quality accommodation and service.
