Recomendations on Thailand
15 years ago, February 26th 2009 No: 1 Msg: #64158
Trying to plan a 4 or 5 week holiday including north and south Thailand. Looking for adventure and culture with at least a week at a nice resort on an island, and or somewhere like phuket, Krabi etc. Most accomodation will have to be modest apart from the splurge on a resort. I dont see the point on waisting money on flash hotels if you only sleep there.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. ie, anyone been to Phi Phi Island. Is it over rated or is there plenty to do,- stay at a resort or is there good spots to stay at Tonsai Bay.
Any thoughts or comments on Thai travel will help.

Hello Jamie 😊

Koh Pha Ngan is worth considering too. I really liked it there. And it is possible to get a beach hut for less than 5 Euros per nothing. The huts are not as rough as the word hut would lead one to believe. They have double beds, bathrooms, fans, and a balcony.
