I'm planning on going to Surin but can't figure out whether or not its better to just head from Bangkok or go up to Chiang Mai first as originally planned and then take the 14hr bus journey when I'm finished in Chaing Mai!I think from Bangkok it's only 7hrs which makes alot more sense to head from there, but I'm meeting friends in Chiang Mai...discisions discisions discisions!!!
