What's available in China (Shanghai) for feminine products? Are there tampons available?
Reply to this You will find most of the things you need. They are short on choices of deodorant, some medecines, etc....but if you are not too fuzzy, you'll find everything you need, and often at quite a cheap price compare to anywhere else.

I dont know about China in particular, but in some countries tampons are hard to find and expensive when you do find them.

Reply to this Megacities like Shanghai and Beijing cater to large expat communities and the retail industry knows how to take advantage of that. If you don't feel comfortable exploring the local brands just be prepared to pay through the nose for western imports though, as the supermarkets that stock these are well aware of how much people are willing to fork out for a little bit of home.
