Hi,

You can take a fast ferry or a short flight. I did the flight. Don't remember how much it cost, but it was pretty cheap. United has a flight every morning.

Have fun, you going to two great places...

I wouldn't even bother planning the journey BA - Uruguay to be honest. All hostels offer boat/flight/bus trips to Uruguay and back. Busses leave several times a day, there is always room and the general rule to South American travel still goes: everything you book online/far in advance will cost you twice the money yet still places you on exactly the same bus you'd end up on if you arranged it a day in advance.

Actual costs: I'm guessing the bus BA - Montevideo is about 10 euros or less. Boat will be more expensive. Flight I don't know. Reply to this
