Hi Hannah,

You can book your tour to the salt flats either in La Paz at the bus station or in Uyuni. I went there the 3rd of January last year. There are plenty of agencies in Uyuni, they usually send some staff people to the bus stops arriving from La Paz offering their tours. I can't remember the name of mine but I accepted the first offer I got for 60 US and it was totally ok. It was a 3-day tour, including meals and accommodation (with one night in the salt hotel). One jeep usually leaves with 6 people and 2 guides (a driver and a cook).

You may be lucky and the salt flat is already covered with water. That's the most amazing thing I've ever seen. The sky is reflected in the water, it seems like you're in heaven...

Have a wonderful stay and a happy new year,
