Hello., I will be spending a few days in Bangkok in January with wife and two young children 4 and 6. Can anyone recommend a tourguide who might take us around for a couple of half days and give me an idea of what something like that would cost. Also any suggestions on things kids that young would like would be greatly appreciated. thanks Reply to this

Hello Andrew 😊

I went to Thailand a couple of times with my 8 year old. People there love kids and are so helpful and understanding about them.

You could take the kids for a ride up and down the river on the passanger boat.

thanks I saw one post that really recommended a hotel with a pool. I think we have booked a budget place without one. You think it's worth upgrading? Reply to this

I certainly wouldnt bother with the pool in Phukett with the sea nearby.

If it was me, I wouldnt bother with it in Bangkok either. There are better things to spend your time doing than sitting by the pool. But I am not keen on pools....... Reply to this

Agree with Mell,a trip on the river would be a good idea. Also,I reckon, the kids would love one of the huge shopping malls that have sprung up all over Bangkok.Good place to eat with kids as they all have Western food,KFC,McDonalds etc. plus Thai food which is normally available from a food court.
