Question about trains

I need to travel from Shanghai to Hangzhou next month, followed by another trip from Shanghai to Nanjing. I understand the best way to go to both places is by train since they're both 2-3 hours away. Can anyone describe the conditions of the trains? Are they the modern high-speed trains similar to the one from Beijing to Tianjin? Any advice would be helpful so I know what I'm in for...I'll probably go first class so hopefully it is comfortable and clean. Reply to this

Hi Oliver,

Train to Hangzhou first class is around 60rmb one way....the only little problem is you can only book 1 week in advance...its' easy, fast, clean, reliable....the all lot.

Have fun!
