Hello Shane 😊

You could go to Khao Sok National Park. It is around a 3 hour bus ride from Phuket. The bus ticket costs around 5 Euros. Not sure how much it costs to get into the park. Go as early in the morning as you can because I am not sure how late the busses run in the evenings. It is possible that the last one back to Phukett goes at 6PM

Yeah, it is nice there. I did however spend my entire 2 weeks there screaming because of the number of crawlies. Big spiders in the bathroom every night, leeches..... Be sure to take a good bug repellant containing DEET with you if you are going to spend any nights there. Any repellant with DEET is effective and they are available in most shops in Thailand. You will be also able to buy it in the shops in the village near the park.

I have a blog about my time there called Exotic Creatures but no photos.

If you are planning to stay there overnight or longer I can recommend you a place to stay. I stayed in one place like the one in the picture on my blog for 4 Euros per night. There is another place I know of which is a bit fancier and has a nice restaurant but is still not what we would call expensive by Western pricing standards. The fancier place is the one that I describe in my blog with the pool where the monkeys come to swim in the evenings. Reply to this
