Loads of places to stay, depends how much u want to spend.... Lots of bungalows/guesthouses for about 300-600 baht p/night when i was there 3 wks ago. I stayed at the phi phi hotel, was very very nice with air con, hot water and a swimming pool, but you pay for it. But still only 1200 baht a night, which is a lot thai money but english money for me not so bad!
Dont stay at this one on outskirts, i booked before i went was like a prison, was near bay view resort on east side of island.

I stayed at viking natures resort last Aug and had the tree house with a private beach to ourselves for under £20. Reply to this

Is the Viking Nature Resort close to town or is it on the outskirts? Reply to this

http://vikingnaturesresort.com/index.html. Here is their web site. Its at outskirt of town, about 10 mins walk to town and during low tide, you can stroll along the beach and reach town by 5 mins. Reply to this

It's not 5 star but its clean and tidy. I recommend the tree hut, its a little bit pricey but's worth it to have the whole beach cove to yourself. Reply to this
