I'm a Canadian that will be heading to India soon from Korea. On the way Im going to be making stops in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam so I'm wondering what is the best way to get my Indian visa. In Korea before I leave or to get it in Thailand (in Bangkok) or is it possible to get it in Vietnam?
Also with visas, do you give them an intended day of arrival or is it valid from when you apply?
And are these visa websites where you can apply for them online legit? They seem to be run through 3rd party companies.
Thanks for reading!
Reply to this Hi,
You can get Indian visa at Indian Embassy at any country, where are you traveling,
Your visa period will be start to your visa stamp date, for example your stamp in your passport at 20 Sept and now your day counting start for visa duration completion.
Good luck
Peter
Reply to this I would like to share some information which will be useful to Indian Passport holders who are planning to go to Vietnam as tourists. Some important points as follows:-
- Indian Passport holders no longer can get on arrival visa at Vietnam airport.
- Indian Passport holders get maximum 15 days stay visa from Vietnamese embassy in India.
- Individual has to go personally at Vietnamesy embassy in India to get visa.
And you can apply for online visa through the website. <snip> . I hope that will be helping you.
