Budget is about $40-$60 per night (happy to pay less!!). Any suggestions appreciated. | PA Leslie Pierre-Alexandre Post Count: 874 Msg: #2 66 weeks ago, September 9th 2008 | Just had to find some info for friends...Sunway, nice 4 stars...little more than your budget, but at 67usd a night, it was a bargain! | phil79 phil legg Post Count: 2 Msg: #3 65 weeks ago, September 12th 2008 | Just head for the lake. There's loads of hotels and most of them would be well under your budget. | gramhamrith Eric Gramhamrith Post Count: 1 Msg: #4 65 weeks ago, September 12th 2008 | Hi, you can try Frangipani Villa that can be viewed at www.frangipanihotel.com. I used to stay there and found it nice and moreover it can be viewed at http://www.tripadvisor.com/. It had a nice chill out area with hammoks and a restaurant. it was in a nice part of town close to cheap eateries. the rooms were clean and the price was good! | Ray_Om Ray Cordoba Post Count: 131 Msg: #7 63 weeks ago, September 29th 2008 | Well i would advice you to stay in the Lake side. It was such a beatiful area. About the names, sorry i cant help you much as i cant remmber the names. Maybe you need to check the Lonley Planet for Cambodia. | sopharsogood Sophie Post Count: 4 Msg: #8 63 weeks ago, October 1st 2008 | $40-$60 - my word, such expense makes my eyes water. The whole time I was in Cambodia I never spent more than $6 for a room which leads me to believe that my standard of living is more slummier than yours. Disclaimer done, I concur with what the other guys are saying about the lakeside area. I stayed in the Lazy Fish guesthouse...the staff were lovely, the bar/restaurant is open all night long and it is just generally chilled. | Number of Users: 8 | Number of Posts: 8 | ||||||||||||||||
