Hi,

I have the choice of doing volunteer projects and generally travelling around either Argentina, Peru or Bolivia and I have no idea which country to choose and I dont know anyone who has been to any of these:

If i were to do the project in Argentina I would be based in buenos aires

If I were to do the project in Peru I have the choice of either Cusco or Lima

anyone who has travelled around these countries I would love any suggestions on which one to go as I am reeeeeeeeealy stuck on which one to choose I have no preferences either way so I would be greatful to hear anyones experiences on these places

Cheers

different places, different experiences. what are you looking for?
buenos aires is a modern western city. argentina is the richest country in south america with the smallest indigenous population of all southamerican countries.
bolivia is the opposite: the highest % of indigenous and dirt poor but that doesnt make it a worse experience, quite possibly the contrary.
peru is also a fantastic country, both lima and cuzco. it is very diverse in nature, food and people and possibly has the most developed tourist industry.
you'll have to ask yourself why you are travelling? what do you want to see?

I agree. It depends on the type of experience you are searching for. If it were me, I would go to Cuzco. The culture and history in that area is fantastic. And if you get some free time you can see some of the best tourist sites in South America. The only thing you would have to worry about would be getting used to the altitude (depending on where you are from). Reply to this
