Where to stay

Me and a friend are traveling for 6 months in December. We have a plan for while in India.
We're in Thailand for 4 weeks and want to get around as much as possible and see as many places possible on a very tight budget.
We're in Sri Lanka doing a 2 week tour then we have two weeks to go where ever, any suggestions of cheap accomodation would be great.

in bangkok : a lots of budget accomodation at Kao saan Road.

if u have a chance to visit Koh Samet .. Please don'f forget to visit Vogn Duean beach .. cool beach.. Don't miss our bar as well.. plz check it out www.baywatchbar.tk

I think I may be late in this post, but research Khao Lak for Thailand. Cheap and wonderfully beautiful. I've blogged this area a few times. I'm here now and have been for six months. Check it out!! Reply to this

Oh, before I forget...

Khao Lak Inn - $20USD TV/Air Cond
Khao Lak View Point - $40 TV/A-C/hilltop overlook to sea
Sri Tabak - Very cheap, no A/C
Merlin Resort - $75+ First Class
Nang Thong Resort - $35 on the beach, nice place TV-A/C, etc.
