Don't know where to go..... everything seems wonderful... help me figure out my trip! I need to filter out the not so good tours and excursions!
Hello
I am going to Mexico for 10 days... First I will be in Oaxaca for 5 and Cancun the other 5.... I don't know where to go or what to do in Cancun... I know I want to go horse back riding.... as well as see some ruins, and cenotes and of course snorkel maybe an underground river... I went to Cancun last year and was only able to get XelHa in... I am having a VERY hard time picking between:
1) Horse Back Riding
2) Tulum
3) Chichen Itza
4) XelHa
5) Xcaret
6) RELAXING ON THE BEACH... this is also important to me! 😊
7) TAKE PHOTOS!!!! (I tend to take hundreds!!!)
There is an all inclusive tour to Tulum and Xelha... Should I go back to Xelha or should I try to get to Xcaret!!!
I would appreciate any help and advice anyone has to give!!!
THANK YOU MUCH!
Reply to this oh my my travel dates are June 26th through July 6th... Caaaaaaaaaan't wait!!!
Reply to this Hi, Im travelling 6 to 9 months in central and south america and am in oaxaca at the moment. If you're looking for a calm hostel go to Hostal Mezcalito its on Calle (or Avenida) Independencia 101. If not look elsewhere, bc its REALLY calm. it works for me cause im working at the moment and i actually sleep while im here...
anyway, i actually had locals in mexico city highly recommend Chichen Itza. dont know what the other places arelike though so.....
anyway, best of luck!!

Reply to this hey, i just got back from that area. Tulum was nice, but only because of its location. The actual ruins are not overly impressive (obviously my opinion!) but the beach is amazing and good for relaxing and snorkeling. Also just down the road are some nice cenotes.
As far as ruins go, chichen itza is really nice, but go as early as possible as it does get over run when the buses arrive. Personally i enjoyed the coba and uxmal ruins more, they are quieter and just if not more impressive with more of a 'ruin' feel as they are less developed.
hope that helps bit
have a great trip

Reply to this Hi,
If I'm not to late for this you might want to take a look at a site that I run which provides comprehensive information on Mexico - http://www.mexicovacationpackage.just4unow.com
